Start with the device type and exact frequency
Specify crystal, XO, TCXO, VCXO or differential oscillator, retaining the exact decimal frequency and unit. A frequency or package alone is usually insufficient. Include the existing full part number and datasheet when available.
Share system and procurement conditions together
For crystals, include CL, ESR and drive level. For oscillators, include supply, output, loading or termination and pinout. Add temperature, stability, sample and production quantities and target delivery. Any special arrangements depend on the manufacturer and order.
