Selection reference · illustrative scenario
Clock roles in the application
Access points, fixed-wireless terminals and positioning nodes can need controller, RF and standby clocks. Map each host clock function before selecting frequency and device type.
Engineering selection review
Review RF error and temperature conditions, host input mode and backhaul signaling/jitter bands separately. For battery devices, record sleep and wake states.
Procurement and documentation
Include host, rf and backhaul chips and error definition and temperature range, plus the existing full code, sample and production quantities and delivery target. Discuss nominated international brands and domestic candidates separately, confirming parameters and documents by part.
Illustrative validation scenario
For a gateway, test temperature changes, reconnection, wake recovery and backhaul loading. A clock specification alone does not establish a system connection-success rate.
